stock sump plate - I have an aftermarket one with a drain plug, but it's junk.

I don't have a piston ring compressor, so I had to carefully pop them into the cylinder

head in place, but tubes not yet fitted

I used new bolts and nuts all round

this piston pin was rusty for some reason, used a good spare in it's place.

This is a neat engine stand adaptor that lets me mount a starter

Flywheen not on yet

but when it is, I should be able to turn the engine over by the starter

easier than chopping doen a gearbox.

need to figure out the wiring for this alt - I have a 'single wire' in the van at the moment, but I'd just like to see if this one works.
